East Coast · Paralysis tick season
Why East Coast dog owners can't take chances
From Far North Queensland down the NSW coast, the paralysis tick is out in force from late winter to early summer – peaking September to November. Every season thousands of dogs end up at the vet. Plenty of them were already on prevention.

An extra layer, not a replacement
No product is 100% reliable – vets say it, and every East Coast dog owner knows it. That's why so many of us stack our protection: the usual prevention, a daily tick search, and something more.
BushSafe is that something more. The pendant sits on the collar and keeps a scent barrier around your dog around the clock, so fewer ticks get the chance to latch on in the first place. We won't tell you your dog will never get another tick. But it's one more layer between your dog and a paralysis tick.

One more layer between your dog and a paralysis tick
Keep your dog's usual prevention – vets recommend it on the East Coast. BushSafe adds a layer on the outside.
BushSafe doesn't replace your dog's tick prevention or your daily tick search.
Everything you need to know before tick season
Can I use it with NexGard, Bravecto or Simparica?
Yes. BushSafe doesn't go into your dog's body, so it sits on the collar alongside your dog's usual prevention. On the East Coast that's exactly how we'd use it: regular prevention, BushSafe as an extra layer, and a daily tick search.
Do I still need to check my dog for ticks?
Yes – every day in tick season. No product is 100% reliable. Run your fingers through the coat after every walk: head, neck, ears, between the toes and under the collar.
Is it safe for my dog?
The oils stay sealed in the pendant on the collar – nothing is swallowed and nothing goes on the skin. Suitable from 8 weeks of age. For pregnant or nursing dogs, check with your vet first. If your dog seems unsettled, simply take it off.
What's inside?
Six plant oils: citronella, Tasmanian eucalyptus, peppermint, chamomile, cedarwood and clove.
How long does it last?
Up to 12 months from one pendant. The oils are released slowly over time – no monthly doses, no calendar reminders.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. The oils are sealed in a waterproof casing, so your dog can swim, get caught in the rain or have a bath.
How long does shipping take?
We'll email you as soon as your order is on its way.
What if it doesn't work for my dog?
You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy, get in touch and we'll refund you in full.
